Online Finds Meet Local Faves In This Insider's, "Girl's Guide" To The Hamptons

ELAINE SAYS: Anyone else firmly hanging onto those last days of summer? I don't know about you but while I will eventually embrace the wind-down, I'm just not quite ready. Yes...I know...I live in LA with an impending autumn that will likely rival summer temperatures. But that sort of misses the point....Or the point of view. Quintessentially defining the easy/breezy summer mood that us freedom files so adore, are the Hamptons and vacationing there...even mentally...can be a treat. Some might even say, an addiction. Enter our lovely enabler and uber-insider, Samantha Yanks. Editor-In-Chief of HAMPTONS MAGAZINE, Samantha runs the veritable guidebook to NYC's warm weather playground. I just can't imagine a better source than Samantha, to deliver an A-Plus A-List for the Hamptons that includes both places to visit [if you're spending your end of summer there] as well as plenty of online shops to browse [if like me, you're flying digital airlines this time]. Either way, Samantha made sure we can all take a walk in her heavenly shoes. PS: Also Editor-In-Chief of Gotham Magazine [she get's it done...I know!], Samantha will soon be giving us a peak into her NYC Black Book as well...stay tuned! PS: Did Samantha get you in the mood? A NOTE FROM SAMANTHA YANKS:

Like many New Yorkers, the Hamptons are my home-away-from-home for the summer months. As Editor-in-Chief of Hamptons magazine, I’m always on the lookout for all things luxe, from Westhampton to Montauk. Here are some of my favorite spots, from home décor stores [interior design is a passion of mine], to exclusive waterfront dining. –Samantha Yanks
