ELAINE SAYS: If you read the "about" section on the website for SWERVE, a popular fitness studio that Gillian Clark co-founded with longtime friend, Teigh McDonough, you'll see that the first line is, "Gillian is a seeker..."...I love that...and her "search" has lead her down some interesting roads. She's completed a Master's Training in Meditation, she's a long-time practitioner of Kundalini, Anusara and Kriya yoga, and she's also the creator of a now signature fitness class called, YOGA BOOTY BALLET. I discovered the class years ago at Crunch, where she was an instructor when she literally dreamed it up. It became wildly popular, and has ultimately, grown to be not only the foundation of Swerve, but the subject of countless dvd's and a fitness trend that captured the interest of now partner, Beach Body. But most importantly, devotees will say that Gillian is really inspiring and that her classes are body-morphing.
