Celebrity Tress-Master Tells Us What's On His A-List

ELAINE SAYS: What do Sienna Miller, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Beil have in common? Thazzright....Adir. He has an undeniably impressive client-list of well-known women with some seriously pretty hair. What you may not know, is that he was once also a member of the American Ballet Theater in New York City (see photo to the left, where he redefines the expression, "scissor happy"!!!). Today, you can find him at Fekkai on Melrose Place, where he very occasionally, is available for cuts. But generally, his time is now spent making red carpets and mag covers sparkle.

  1. Good Scents: LeLabo Fragrances lelaboVISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION:8385 West Third Street Los Angeles [3rd St]For Scents there is one place that I can spend the whole day playing with combinations and buying candles for friends. The name is LeLabo. Their fragrances are so special and unique.  They make the fragrance right there in front of you and they customize the label to your liking.  I was first introduced to LeLabo at the Gramercy Park Hotel where LeLabo made a scented candle specially for them.  It was my obsession and since then I have been a loyal client.

  6. Give It To Me Straight: The Brazillian Blowout keratin 2001VISIT WEBSITE This revolutionized the hair care world.   Women with frizzy unruly hair were now able to go to humid cities and not wear a hat and cut down their time of styling by half.   This stuff is awesome. I have a lot of friends who have trouble with their frizzy fros, so I send them to Andy Lecompte Salon for this treatment.  Once this awesome product hits their heads they have shiny sexy wavy hair.  I am a huge advocate of helping texture when you can.

Sexy Supper: Gjelina Restaurant gjelinaVISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION:1429 Abbot Kinney Boulevard, Venice [Abbot Kinney]This restaurant can make you cry its so good, a headache to get a reservation but once you get here I end up running into everyone I work with.  This is a great atmosphere with great food and beautiful people to look at.  The chef is handsome, sweet and knows how to put a menu together.  While the best dish is people watching, I almost always start off with the grilled nectarines & burrata, which comes out as a rustic little platter with blobs of rich burrata, sweet nectarines, and huge curls of prosciutto and I then follow it by ordering their best pizza, DUCK SAUSAGE PIZZA .
  10. Crazy Good in K-town: Natura Spa natura spaVISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION:3240 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles [Koreatown]If you want to escape and get so relaxed this place is heaven.  I try and go on a weekly basis to this place.  It is so clean and between the facility, and the scrubs and acupuncture and massages I come out a new man.  Its for both men and women using separate facilities but its a nice way to go with a bunch of friends and relax.
