Pink Product Round-Up
ELAINE SAYS: Nearly all of us have been touched by cancer in some way....or have someone close to us who has. If you've experienced the disease from any vantage point, you'll likely feel that there are simply not enough days for all the work that needs to be done. But for the 31days in October, many fashion brands and retailers are working with those leading the crusade all year long, to create special edition products or programs that make your shopping dollars help fight for a cure. This month-long effort is a great and simple way for us shoppers to get involved. The products in my round-up represent home, fashion and beauty, fall into a range of price points from $20-$1100 and are all things I find beautiful and/or practical (my mantra). Buy something for yourself or stock-up on stocking stuffers and make those holiday gifts mean something more. And of course, if you don't it here, just search the sites of your favorite fashion magazines for something you need more, that will also provide funds toward the fight. This is important....Breast Cancer Awareness Month makes it easy. PS: If you're looking for ways to make an even bigger difference, check volunteer opportunities at or make a donation to one of the organizations listed in the post or check www.iVolunteer.com for local volunteer projects in your area.
