Kerrilynn Pamer: Founder, Castor and Pollux + GIVEAWAY

Owner Of This Bonafide, "NYC Favorite" Shares Her Own NYC Faves, Online Finds And One Beautiful Giveaway

ELAINE SAYS: Discovering the timeless and covetable, Maggie Bracelet is what lead me to Oregon Girl turned New York Tastemaker, Kerrilynn Pamer and her beloved NYC boutique, Castor & Pollux. Once there, you'll see what I did....a thoughtfully and elegantly curated boutique designed to tickle the senses and full of treasures, many of which you can shop online. Included, designers like Erin Considine [I love her Esker Ring] and Lizzie Fortunato [peek at the Painted T-Bar Cuff], a lovely apothecary stocked with items like Tata Harper potions and Saipua Soaps. Plus, a collection of elegant collaborations and original designs, boasting one in particular, the very Maggie Bracelet that captured my attention in the first place. The way I see it, this "full circle moment" calls for a GIVEAWAY. CLICK HERE AND FIND OUT HOW YOU CAN WIN A CASTOR & POLLUX CLASSIC MAGGIE BRACELET OF YOUR OWN, Courtesy of Kerrilynn. FUN! ......Oh...and being who I am, I also love Kerrilyn's "Ladies of Castor & Pollux" profiles...I think you will too.

KERRILYNN'S ONLINE FINDS

  1. Big Spoon Roasters Peanut Butter | SHOP big spoon roastersA friend brought this to my store along with a fantastic bottle of rose and I'm not sure which one I liked more! The peanut butter definitely lasted longer, although, by the time I got to it at home, my husband had devoured the whole jar. And he "doesn't even like peanut butter". It's that good.
  2. Coava Coffee | SHOP coava coffeeHands down the best coffee I've EVER had. And, I've had a lot of coffee, I'm from Portland! In a beautiful warehouse in SE Portland, this roaster shares a space with a bamboo flooring company. Only in the Northwest.
  3. Olatz Sheets | SHOP olatz sheetsOkay, I actually don't have these yet, but I dream of them all the time and hope to have them sooner rather than later. I'll probably wait till I've taught my two dogs that sleeping on the bed is not the norm and is frowned upon, for some reason they haven't figured this out.
  4. Japanese Zig Pen | SHOP japanese zig penOn my trip to Japan this past winter I insisted on finding the best pens and stationary that the country has to offer. This of course led us to Tokyo Hands, a store in the center of Tokyo, that fulfilled all my dreams. It's like the world's best Target, filled with everything and anything you could possibly imagine. The stationary section took up almost a whole floor and I spent close to an afternoon shopping. My Japanese friend who is a born researcher found this pen and told me that it was the "best new Japanese pen design" this year. Sold. I totally agree and you don't have to go to Tokyo to get one, although if you can, you absolutely should.
  5. Tata Harper Rejuvenating Serum | SHOP Tata HarperWe carry this line in the store and I can say from personal experience that IT WORKS! I've been using it for a year and I think it's erased some years off of my face. It's all natural and made in Vermont, this skincare should be in every woman's medicine cabinet, especially if they are concerned about anti-aging and natural care. Don't let the natural part dissuade you, I've never met a more effective serum.

KERRILYNN'S LOCAL FAVES [NYC]

I try to see her monthly and my skin and mental state thank me enormously when I do.  Park Slope, Brooklyn
  2. Dining at En Japanese Brasserie | DISCOVER en brasserieThis gorgeous restaurant is confirmation that the Japanese have design and aesthetics down to a science. An exquisite space with a rotating seasonal flower arrangement that takes up most of the dining room this spot is perfect in every way, just look at their website. The food, the atmosphere, the service, I love it all. 435 Hudson Street, West Village
  3. Shopping at De Vera | DISCOVER DeAnother fantastic testament to design and aesthetics, this store is my dream home. Jewelry, objects and books all displayed in a grand and intriguing space make for a perfect afternoon browse.  [Photo courtesy, The Style Saloniste]  1 Crosby Street, Soho
  4.  Gueros for Tex-Mex | DISCOVER GuerosI never knew that I liked Tex-Mex food until I tried the nachos at Gueros. I don't know what they do to make them taste the way they do and I probably don't want to know, but I could eat these once a week. Not so great for the vegan that lives inside my body all other days of the month but they are fantastic when I feel like indulging. Nachos and margaritas, anyone? 605 Prospect Place, Brooklyn, Crown Heights
  5. Custom Shoes + Boots from E. Vogel | DISCOVER E. VogelOne of my most coveted items in my closet are the riding boots that a friend had custom made for my 40th birthday. This friend does not play around with her gift giving skills, I aspire to be as thoughtful and kind as she is someday. I had three fittings to get them right and when I finally got them I practically cried. This store has been around since the turn of the century, all owned by one family, and the tradition lives on on Howard Street. 19 Howard Street, Soho
