She manages to do it all with style and grace and will tell you herself that having a good list is key. LOCAL FAVE: McCall's Meat & Fish VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: 2117 Hillhurst Avenue [Los Feliz] I didn’t even realize that Los Feliz was missing a butcher shop until one opened. Salmon, Lamb, Pork-you name it. But do not miss the little glass bottle of “Yuzo Pepper paste” that makes everything taste divine.
LOCAL FAVE: The Trails Cafe VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: 2333 Fern Dell Drive, Los Angeles [Los Feliz] If you ever want to feel like you are no longer in LA, head to this café located in Griffith Park. Nestled in the trees, you can eat snake dogs (hot dogs in Phyllo dough), avocado sandwiches and fresh scones-all while the kids jump around on hale bales. Heaven!
ONLINE FIND: Lea Journo Salon at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: 9500 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills [BH] Before I found Lea my hair was always striving to be something else-longer, shorter, wavier, straighter. She cuts my long waves EXACTLY the way my hair is supposed to be cut. There’s not much I travel to BH for and this is worth it! If you're not nearby, try her great products.
LOCAL FAVE: Olympic Korean Spa VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: 2915 W. Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles [Korea Town] When I first moved to LA some of my new friends took me here. I had never been to a Korean spa before and I’ve been hooked ever since. It’s not fancy and that’s kind of what I love about it. All types, just coming together to relax. Get the milk scrub and mini-massage for $80 and then hang in the oxygen sauna.
LOCAL FAVE: Stark Waxing Studio VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: 3335 West Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles [Silverlake] If you opened your own waxing studio, you would want it to look exactly like this place. The attention to detail and the cute little gift items are a perfect addition. And I wouldn’t trust my stray eyebrow hairs to anyone else!
ONLINE FIND: Clare Vivier VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: 1404 Micheltorena Street, Los Angeles [Silverlake] Simple, classic, fun and timeless. Her bags really are the coolest! She's an East Side mompreneur like me, so we've become fast friends. And I really admire her style. She recently opened her own store in Silver Lake. Yay!

LAX concierge service that whisks you from curbside, past long lines at security, to waiting airplane with no hassle. Will even fold your stroller and entertain kids if needed. And surprisingly affordable!
LOCAL FAVE: Fresh Pressed VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: 4646 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles [Los Feliz] The amount of OOH’s and AHH’s I get from these items is proof of how cool this place is. They will screen any photo, kid’s scribble etc on a t-shirt or canvas tote and you’ve got the perfect personalized gift
ONLINE FIND: Lake Boutique VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: 1618 1/2 Silverlake Boulevard, Los Angeles [Silverlake] This perfectly edited store is a one-stop-shop for all things stylish. Clothing, Shoes, Bags, Housewares and even Skin care. But the Isabel Marant keeps me coming back over and over.
