ELAINE SAYS: She's talented, inspiring and she loves kids. In fact, her successful, community treasure, Sophie Dance, a dance studio for little divas, was a dream since childhood. Sophie and I met in Drea's Tipi some time ago...and what a way to get to know someone! Sophie is as deep as she is fun, as hard working as she is light-hearted and most definitely full of chic and inspiring ideas that she couldn't wait to share. Really...this project was so up her alley. She's also a VERY new mom....we'll have to get her to do a, "Mini and Me" list too, once she finds her groove. I'm sure she'll nail it in no time! :)

I have thrown dinner parties solely for the purpose of ordering and serving up these cakes that always come out simple, beautiful and delicious. The chocolate chocolate chip cake with orange vanilla frosting is my personal favorite. Pick them up at the Culver City Bakery (they do some nearby deliveries and national shipping too) and bring them to a party...you’ll definitely be invited back!!

Her studio is beautiful and private and I always walk out of there feeling like a star!

Beautiful Ballet Flats: Tieks VISIT WEBSITE This LA-based company makes, by far, my most favorite ballet flat and I have tried them all! Incredibly comfortable from the first day, fantastic colors, and they even fold up to fit inside my smallest handbag. The packaging is also adorable!

I love Yoga Booty Ballet and Triple A workout classes. The owner, Gillian Clark, is a ray of light and if I weren’t dancing in my own studio everyday, I would be living in hers. I also LOVE the boutique in the studio for well fitting, flattering yoga and workout wear!
