They are simple, chic and practical. Everything Clare produces is made here in L.A., in a socially and ecologically responsible way...I carry her Le Trop Bag nearly every day and it makes me feel very French and cool.

From the moment you walk in you feel like you might have just stepped into a storefront off St. Germain. Whether you want funky retro reading glasses or deadstock imported European sunglasses, these guys probably have it, can get it, or make it. This place is 100% style AND substance. Bethany Winters: Celebrity Stylist NEW HIGH MART | LOCATION: 1720 North Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles [Los Feliz] I love New High Mart on Vermont for hard to find brands like Rachel Comey and Grey Ant. They have a really beautifully culled selection of sort of utilitarian/European/minimalist stuff with an artisan edge that feels relevant. They have a great online selection too. [Lister Link]
