Putting the "Taste" in Tastemaker Tag Sales, Andrea Stanford Curates a Very Chic Lifestyle for The List Collective

ELAINE SAYS: I get hundreds of daily emails but I look forward to the "ping" from, One Kings Lane. Yes..."home" is definitely where my heart is when it comes to shopping and Andrea Stanford's Tastemaker Tag Sales and vintage offerings deliver something to the marketplace that I find special and noteworthy. They're fun, expertly edited, both aspirational and accessible....and there's no question she has incredible taste. I know that there isn't really a job that is ever as great as it looks, but I'm going to hang on to my image of hers....it's just delicious. And speaking of yum...her list. Clear your schedule and get ready to bookmark. Andrea was insanely generous with her info and as expected, her lifestyle footprint will make you want to walk in her shoes. Enjoy all of these amazing finds and check out One Kings Lane if for some crazy reason, you haven't already!

  1. My Favorite Trifecta: Heath Ceramics, Adam Silverman & Commune Design adam silvermanVISIT WEBSITE: Heath Ceramics | LOCATION: Heath Ceramics 7525 Beverly Boulevard, Los Angeles + VISIT WEBSITE: Commune DesignThe best thing that ever happened to Beverly Boulevard was HEATH CERAMICS. When I first learned a few years ago that they were coming to Los Angeles, I jumped for joy! Even better, ADAM SILVERMAN (an amazing artist + potter), was selected to oversee the studio on premises, and COMMUNE DESIGN (there are not enough accolades to describe their work), designed the space. The trio continue to bring the most amazing collaborations to light within the beautiful walls, including linens by COMMUNE/MATTEO and reimagined pieces by SILVERMAN, using his own glazing techniques with Heath molds.
  2. Best Books: West Hollywood Library & Nick Harvill Library west hollywood libraryVISIT WEBSITE: West Hollywood Library | LOCATION: West Hollywood Library, 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard, West Hollywood  +  VISIT WEBSITE: Nick Harvill | LOCATION: Nick Harville 715 North San Vicente Boulevard, West HollywoodSince I live just minutes away, I couldn't be happier about the opening of the new, WEST HOLLYWOOD LIBRARY. In fact, I just co-hosted an opening party there last month! What a great addition for the community. For my own home library, I love vintage books! My favorite source is NICK HARVILL. His collection is always intriguing and he makes wonderful gift suggestions for the over-endowed reader.
  3. My Girl Crush: Kelly Wearstler kelly on bedVISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: Opening Soon...Kelly Wearstler 844 Melrose Avenue, Los AngelesI said it.  My "girl crush" is KELLY WEARSTLER. She first told me about her idea for a boutique a few years ago – and I’ve been drooling with anticipation ever since. Having viewed some of her vintage clothing collection and inspiration for her new line then, I knew her ready-to-wear would be crazy good. I’ve already bought a few pieces at Neiman Marcus, but I can’t wait to see the full collection at the new, Melrose Avenue location, when it opens to the public.
  4. Oldies But Goodies:  Ammo and Lucques luquesVISIT WEBSITE: Lucques | LOCATION: Luques 8474 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles + VISIT WEBSITE: Ammo | LOCATION: Ammo 1155 North Highland Avenue, Los AngelesAm I the only one completely BORED by New York restaurants opening a “branch” in Los Angeles? The chef isn’t really there after the opening and it never lives up to the original. I say... "...keep your restaurants – we don’t need them!"  My favorite restaurants are the same today as they were a decade ago. You can never go wrong with LUCQUES and AMMO and their perfect menus. Sit at the bar for a last minute drop in! And no worries about getting dressed up – the atmosphere is always forgiving, with perfect lighting and warm interiors.
  5. Nothing More than Home Decor: The La Cienega Design Quarter harbingerVISIT WEBSITE: Peter Dunham | LOCATION: Peter Dunham 724 N. La Cienega Boulevard, Los Angeles +  VISIT WEBSITE: Jean de Merry  | LOCATION: Jean de Merry 8417 Melrose Place, Los Angeles + VISIT WEBSITE: Harbinger | LOCATION:Harbinger, Almont Yard, 636-A North Almont Drive, West Hollywood I love to take a half-day and just walk La Cienega between Melrose and Santa Monica – THE LA CIENEGA DESIGN QUARTER. Some of my favorite décor shops in Los Angeles live here! It’s hard to go wrong – window shop or pop in on some of my favorites like: HOLLYWOOD AT HOME + PETER DUNHAM TEXTILES (his newest collection is divine – Sheba is my favorite!), JEAN DE MERRY (dying over the new line by Azadeh Shladovsky, which you can preview there, now!) and HARBINGER (my friends, Joe Lucas and Parish Chilcoat just opened and it's darling!)  Plus, don’t miss:  HOLLYHOCK, LEE STANTON, DOWNTOWN, HALLWORTH DESIGN, and give a shout to MADELINE STUART in her second floor office as you pass by! If my favorite textiles of all time, RAOUL TEXTILES would move over from the PDC, the street would be complete!
  6. Going for Gold: Mannin Jewelry maninVISIT WEBSITE| LOCATION: Mannin Jewelry at Jenny Kayne 614 North Almont Drive, West HollywoodI’ve been obsessed with the MANNIN line of jewelry since I first covered it years ago as a Design Editor. The artist behind the line is SUZANNE DONEGAN. Her classic monogrammed rings and cuffs are my favorite pieces. Find them at another special place, JENNI KAYNE on Almont!
  7. Perfect Polish: Scotch Naturals Scotch NaturalsVISIT WEBSITE: Scotch Naturals | LOCATION: Polish Nail Salon 9857 Santa Monica Boulevard, Beverly HillsI’ve been going to Tina at POLISH nail salon for 15+ years! I love to go with a girlfriend late on a Saturday and then stroll across the street to the PENINSULA HOTEL and have late afternoon tea (or champagne!). Lately I have been bringing my new fave polish by SCOTCH NATURALS. I like to keep their Soy Polish Remover at home when I need a touch-up between visits!
  8. Enlightened: Kari Hill at Serge Normant and El Leon Spa serge normantVISIT WEBSITE: Kari Hill | LOCATION: Serge Normant at John Frieda 8440 Melrose Place, West Hollywood + VISIT WEBSITE: El Leon Spa | LOCATION: El Leon Spa 8217 Beverly Boulevard, Los AngelesKARI HILL is a magician when it comes to the perfect hue. She has mastered the natural looking highlight. I would follow her to ANY salon (and have!) but am loving the beautiful setting of SERGE NORMANT at JOHN FRIEDA SALON.  For a really perfect day, I follow up a cut and color with a duck into the best spa, EL LEON, for a scrub + massage.
  9. Flirty Florals: Brown Paper Design brown paper designsVISIT WEBSITEMy go-to for the most beautiful arrangements and cut flowers is DANIELLE ROWE at BROWN PAPER DESIGN.  She simply does the best events and is always evolving as an artist.
  10. My BFF: Wendy Haworth wendy haworthVISIT WEBSITEIt is hard, in my business, to pick just a single decorator – but WENDY HAWORTH is mine. She started her career as a photo editor at Vogue and I met her when we worked together at a textile house. She is super talented – her sketching, layering, and color registration, and she just has the best eye and greatest style. When she isn’t helping me with a residential project, I am wishing she could double as my clothing stylist!
