Elaine Lewis: Noni Boutique
Her Chic Boutique Brings Big Style to the Boulevard
ELAINE SAYS: I love a great find on my own stomping ground, Larchmont Boulevard and Noni definitely qualifies. Bonus: My kids love the fish tank...sometimes it buys me the time to actually try something on! Genius. [photo courtesy, Christina House for the la times]

- Lavuk = My Favorite Designer VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: Noni, 225 North Larchmont Boulevard, Los Angeles [South Larchmont] Natasha keeps on bringing it! from Lavuk's first season, the design and tailoring has been right on! Natasha is innovative, classic, fun, and modern. Plus, all her designs are green. She is eco-friendly and designs are sweatshop free and made locally in Los Angeles with organic cotton, hemp, tencel and dead stock silk. Plus, with every garment purchased, a tree is planted through the nonprofit American Forests as part of the California Wildfire ReLeaf program.
- Verve = The Perfect Accessory VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: Noni, 225 North Larchmont Boulevard, Los Angeles [South Larchmont] The perfect accessory! When Christy Jackson of Verve jewelry brings her collection to the store, I am in love. Regardless of what I am wearing, I put a piece of verve on and it transforms my outfit to something hip and cool! A must have, whether it be a simple every day piece or a chunky chain with a lil color in it! LOVE!
- Plush Home = Taste and Sophistication VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: 8323 Melrose Avenue, West Hollywood [PDC] Everything in the showroom is absolutely done with THE most taste and sophistication. But of course, it's because it is all designed and hand picked by Nina Petronzio. I slowly but surely collect piece by piece, hoping to one day have my house be totally furnished and designed by Plush Home. Classic yet hip, kinda like Noni. It's no wonder why i admire her taste so!! ;)
- Hector Pocasangre at Plaid Salon = The Vivienne Westwood of Hair VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: 1642 North Cherokee Avenue, Hollywood [Hollywood] I say he's the Vivienne Westwood of hair because there is no method to his creative, genius madness. But whatever he does, he does right!! I have been going to Hector for years and i have been more than pleased with every result. Hector's hair cutting ways come intuitively to him. so he knows what will look the ultimate on his client with keeping them updated with whatever look is happening. Purely genius!! I will never stray from him!
- KCRW 89.9 = The Best Radio Station in Los Angeles VISIT WEBSITE Commercial free, totally cool, totally different, totally funky, totally informative! This public radio station offers sooo much! They have a wide arrange of Los Angeles DJ's playing soo many different kinds of great stuff. Plus, when I want to be informed, I listen to NPR. All on one station!

We try to be different, try to be open to new stuff, but we come to the same conclusion: Hirozen for sushi!! Cornered in a strip mall on Beverly Blvd., it's purely Japanese with the freshest of fish. The sushi melts in your mouth and the chef's special is definitely something to write home about!
- The Good Ol' Original Farmers Market = Childhood Memories VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: The Grove, Fairfax and 3rd I have been coming to the Farmers Market since I was a kid, when it was surrounded by a big open field with a huge store that sold dolls. Anyone remember that? Way before "The Grove"! We love going to the Farmers Market because it feels very European. An outdoor market with soo many different foods & treats to choose from and combination of tourists and L.A. locals. A feel of old Los Angeles.
- El Matador Beach = My Favorite Beach LOCATION: 32215 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu Definitely one of the best things living in warm, sunny, Southern California, are the beaches. Sooo many to choose from, but my favorite is El Matador. One of the reasons I love it is because i feel like I was air lifted and was luckily dropped off on a Greek island! It is secluded and absolutely picturesque, it takes a hike down the long stairs but is worth every step. Off the PCH, past Zuma..
- Temescal Canyon= One of My Favorite Hikes VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: Pacific Palisades Hands down one of our favorite places to hike. We have a l'il one, so I can tell you that the hike is totally do-able for a five year old. It is also very beautiful with lush fields of grass surrounded by sycamores continuing with a beautiful waterfall. It is a fun, free, nature-filled hike. which is nice to do when living a city life! Located in Pacific Palisades off of Sunset Blvd., close to PCH.
