Emily Current & Meritt Elliott: Celebrity Stylists + Founders, Current/Elliott

Part One

ELAINE SAYS: We all have style-defining trends and pieces in our personal fashion histories and for me, the Boyfriend Jean, as once conceived by famed, Celebrity Stylists, Emily Current and Meritt Elliott for the eponymous denim brand, Current/Elliott, is both iconic beloved. As we speak, my favorite pair are at American Rag to receive a little patchwork love. But as a Styling Team, Emily and Meritts' combined talent transcends the jeans they're so famous for. Formerly college friends, they are currently the experts responsible for honing the looks of style-saavy celebs like Sophia Bush, Ashley Greene, Emma Roberts and Mandy Moore. Experts in opposites and hi/low pro's, they elegantly weave tomboy and femme to find the perfect balance. In real life, they "Chic-Seek" in and around their Mid City offices, curating 3rd, Beverly and nearby areas, and creating a lifestyle at home that provides some respite from their exciting but busy lives in fashion. Thank you, Emily and Merrit, for letting us in on some of your favorite places!
