My A-list
SuChin Pak: Daily Candy Chief Correspondent + Co-Founder, Hester Street Fair
Hester Street Goes Hollywood
ELAINE SAYS: The innovative, interesting and artful, SuChin Pak is a veteran journalist and MTV News Correspondent as well as the current Chief Correspondent for one of my long time go-to resources, Daily Candy. A bonafide and absolutely authentic cool-hunter, SuChin truly harnessed the indie spirit of NYC when she launched the HESTER STREET FAIR, with co-founders, Ron Castellano, Adam Zeller and Suhyun Pak. In case you're hearing about it for the first time, Hester Street Fair is an outdoor marketplace and shopping destination event on the Lower East Side, that showcases the team's favorite local craftsmen and artisans...a curation process into which they sink their hearts and souls. I confess to having been just a touch envious of our pals on the East Coast...but wait...hold on...on Saturday, June 2nd, Hester Street finally comes to Hollywood in what I consider to be an artisinal love letter to our very own, L.A. But one fair couldn't possibly cover all our talent, so The Bite Size Food and Craft Festival on the 2nd kicks-off a summer series of events continuing on July 7th with the Hollywood Night Market, Auguest 18th with the Indie Craft Market and wrapping up on August 25th with their Goodnight Hollywod Blvd. music festival. I don't know how she found the time but today, Suchin gives us a sneak peak at some of her favorite vendors.....you'll have to visit the fair to see the rest [but I'm pretty confident it will be worth it!!]!!
