Janie Bryant: Costume Designer, Mad Men

Janie Bryant: Costume Designer, Mad Men

Lifestyle Footprint Volume 2...Because One From Janie Bryant Just Isn't Enough

ELAINE SAYS: What makes LA distinct from NYC, Austin unique to Seattle? Well, the creative and innovative people in the city, of course. The way the dots are connected between artistic minds creates a vibe...a buzz...a point of view. Janie Bryant is certainly one of LA's special talents and her sharp eye extends beyond the set of Mad Men, where she is the famed and uber- talented costume designer responsible for one of the most beautiful period interpretations I've ever enjoyed...and I do....every week. Well, I did...until last week's season finale. Give me a moment....I'm still recovering from the loss. I must tell you, I don't ever miss a word of dialogue but I could easily watch it for a second time with the sound off, just to disect Janie's stunning and interesting choices. Well, it won't surprise you to find out this East Side girl has the same talent for curating a city. She's done it before in VOLUME 1 [take a peak...I went to The Perch for cocktails on her recommendation and fell in love with this aptly named rooftop restaurant/lounge]. Enjoy this 2nd trip down Janie Bryant Lane. PS: And don't forget to check out JanieBryant.com, for a little morsels of her perspective between seasons. [Photo Courtesy, Palma Kolansky].
