- Petit Ermitage VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: 8822 Cynthia Street, West Hollywood [WeHo] Once Spring arrives, we gear up for our "friends and family birthday season". From Mothers Day to Father's Day, we have a very...very, steady stream of celebrations. This year, the friends all got smart, joining forces for one, amazing night out. The Rooftop at the Petit Ermitage hotel was the perfect location and I give my friend Jen, credit for finding it! The hotel is a chic discovery, tucked away near the PDC, in West Hollywood. The lounge-ey furniture and flickering fireplace created the perfect mood for drinks and apps. We moved dinner to a private dining bungalow with a view that made us feel like we were miles away (or maybe that was the alcohol). Either way, it was perfection.
- Mas Malo VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: 515 W. Seventh Street, Los Angeles [Downtown] One of my favorite, Silverlake spots has sprouted a Downtown location, perfect for a private party. We were recently there for a friend's birthday and were so impressed by the organic-modern decor [translation: men and women both look right in that room!]. The simple space has a nice flow, with seating for drinks and dinner. And the large, private bar allows for easy access and a steady pour for your guests. The Mexican comfort food was filling but delicious. We were served a unique and tasty variety of tacos that kept the mood relaxed while packing our palette with interesting flavors. Plus, the downtown location adds mystique.
- AOC Rooftop VISIT WEBSITE | LOCATION: 8022 West Third Street, Los Angeles [3rd Street] I love the sophistication and quality of the food at AOC…always have. It's "foodie" night out without being trendy or pretentious. Exploring the cheese bar, enjoying wine and bites (their classic bite, the Bacon Wrapped Dates, are insane). However, what some don't know is that up the narrow, back stairway hides a private, quiet and lovely rooftop, perfect for a dinner party under the stars. I threw a special dinner party there for my husband's birthday and the experience was definitely one to remember.
